Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Prepared Foods Department Supervisor to join our team at Whole Foods Market - Chelsea. As a key member of our operations team, this individual will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the Prepared Foods department, providing exceptional customer service, and contributing to the overall success of our store.Key Responsibilities

• Department Supervision: Supervise and delegate tasks to Prepared Foods Team Members, ensuring that they have the necessary tools and resources to perform their duties effectively.
• Training and Development: Work with the Prepared Foods Trainer to train Team Members in a manner that builds and sustains a high-performance team and minimizes turnover.
• Customer Service: Maintain awareness of customer flows and needs, and direct Team Members as necessary to satisfy and delight customers.
• Inventory Management: Ensure that all cases and shelves are clean, well-stocked, and properly rotated.
• Operations: Open and close the department according to established procedures, and ensure that all necessary breaks are given.Requirements
  • Experience: 12+ months of retail experience, preferably in a supervisory or management role.
  • Skills: Excellent interpersonal, motivational, team building, and customer relationship skills, as well as strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of Prepared Foods team procedures and policies, including regulatory and safety policies and procedures.
