Job Description:

Assists with scheduling and supervision of Team Members and day-to-day department operations. Oversees Prepared Foods, coffee, and juice displays. Supports Team Leaders to ensure smooth operation. Provides courteous and efficient service to customers and Team Members. Maintains store standards and supports WFM core values and goals.

• Supervises and delegates Prepared Foods Team Member tasks.
  
• Trains Team Members to build a high-performance team and minimize turnover.
  
• Assists in new Team Member training and maintains clean and well-stocked shelves.
  
• Communicates team concerns and sets high standards for retail execution.
  
• Maintains customer flow awareness and directs Team Members to satisfy customer needs.
  
• Selects, trains, and develops Team Members to sustain a high-performance team.
  
• Provides performance evaluations and models WFM vision and goals.

    • 12+ months retail experience required.
      
      • 
        
      • Lifts 50 pounds in an 8-hour workday.
        
      • Standing/walking 6-8 hours.
        
      • Hand use: single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling.
        
      • Work requires bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching.
        
      • Exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals.
        
      • Temperatures up to 90 degrees Fahrenheit.
        
      • Ability to work in wet and dry conditions.
        
      • Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
        
      • Ability to use tools and equipment, including knives, box cutters, and heavy machinery.
        
      • May require use of ladders.
