TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified OR RN in New York City, New York, 10016 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Operating Room Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, 3x11.50 Hr Shifts Guaranteed Hours: 37.50 Hours per Week Experience: - Minimum of two years of experience in the following areas: - Scrub and circulating - IV insertion and phlebotomy - Conscious sedation License: New York State RN License, Primary Source Verification Certifications: - AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) - IV/Phlebotomy experience - AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Must-Have: - Proficiency in cardiology - Experience as a phlebotomist Job Description: - Perform scrub and circulating duties in the operating room - Insert IVs and conduct phlebotomy efficiently - Administer conscious sedation as required - Ensure compliance with all safety and infection control protocols - Collaborate with surgical teams to deliver quality patient care - Document all patient encounters and interventions accurately - Provide patient education and support pre- and post-operatively This opportunity is open to individuals who are fluent in English, with capabilities to read, write, and speak the language proficiently.
