$60,000 (Annual) Part Time Permanent Executive/Director 4-Year DegreeDescriptionThe Executive Director is the senior operating officer of Composers Now, Inc, reporting to the Artistic Director and Board of Directors. In collaboration with the Artistic Director, team members, and Board, the Executive Director articulates the mission of Composers Now and is responsible for leading the organization and implementing its goals.Responsibilities

• Overseeing operations - Managing day-to-day operations, including hiring, training, and mentoring staff and volunteers.
• Planning events - Collaborating with the Artistic Director to plan and execute events, concerts, and activities.
• Developing budgets - Creating and monitoring the annual operating budget and ensuring that the organization's financial needs are met.
• Fundraising - Working with the Development Manager and Board of Directors to secure funding from corporations, foundations, individual donors, and government sources.
• Representing the organization - Serving as the face of the organization and representing it to the public, artists, donors, and other industry groups.
• Developing strategic partnerships - Working with the community to develop partnerships that will increase awareness and expand programs.
• Managing communications - Overseeing all external communications, including the organization's website, social media, marketing collateral, and newsletters.
